On December 9, 2017, the Australian agricultural water resources (
DAWR)
Notice: update cosmetics import requirements.
As follows: (new imported cosmetics conditions change
1)
Personal use soap, do not need to provide the license, suitable for 10 kg or 10 l products;
(
2)
Used for commercial purposes of soap, and do not need to provide the license.
Requiring manufacturers statement prove commercially prepared and packaged products, and all of the biological ingredients have undergone a saponification process.
Note: in the case of the new BICON, saponification process will be included in the ingredients list;
(
3)
Personal use of cosmetics manufacturer, do not need to provide the license, suitable for 10 kg or 10 l products;
(
4)
Commercial use cosmetics manufacturer, containing less than 20% of material of animal origin of products don't need a license.
Preparation and if the product is the commercial retail packaging, it must be completely processed, without further processing;
(
5)
Commercial use cosmetics, containing more than 20% of animal origin, import license is required;
(
6)
The bulk ingredients used in the manufacture of cosmetics manufacturer, the import license is required.
